Welcome to Asanting Village, a vibrant and historically rich community located in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Asanting is a land of cultural heritage, abundant resources, and a strong sense of unity among its people.
Asanting Village is administered under the leadership of His Royal Highness, Chief Ime Ukut Udoka, the village head, who also serves as the family head of Nung Udoka.

Asanting shares borders with several neighboring villages, including Ikot Efum, Ikpa, Ikot Antono, Ikot Edet, Ikot Usan (all within Ibiono Ibom LGA) and Obot Etim, Nung Udoe Itak, and Ekpemiong Itak (located in Ikono LGA).

Traditional Cuisine
Asanting Ibiono Ibom is renowned for its delectable African dishes, including: afang soup, abak-atama soup, edikang ikong soup, melon soup, bitter leaf soup, editan soup, afia efere (popularly called white soup) and okro soup. All these soups go well with our major swallows such as garri, foofoo, pounded yam, and semovita. We also have on the list of top delicacies: ekpang ukukwo, anyan ekpang, asa iwa and pepper soup rice.
